FamilyHart's Carroll County, Maryland

Carroll County was formed January 19,1837 from western parts of Baltimore County, and eastern parts of Frederick County. It was named in honor of Charles Carrol of Carrollton, a representative to the Continental Congress and signatory to the Declaration of Independence. Westminster is the county seat.
