Photo and Description Courtesy of Tom Fulton, TLFULTON2@aol.com

This is a view of a corner grocery store in York about 1905-1906. My grandfather, Ralph Moore Fulton, is the young man on the top step who is partially blocking the doors of the grocery, wearing a dark coat. His cousin is the young man in the white outfit also on the top step, William Stewart, and William's father, Frank Stewart, is to the right of him. The Stewarts are York residents. The other people are unknown to me. The man with his hands on his hips looks in charge. On the window you can see the end of a name and grocer mentioned, and above it appears to say 251. My grandfather thought one of the streets was Albemarle, but I am not certain.
