This is a view of a corner grocery
store in York about 1905-1906. My grandfather, Ralph Moore Fulton,
is the young man on the top step who is partially blocking the
doors of the grocery, wearing a dark coat. His cousin is the young
man in the white outfit also on the top step, William Stewart,
and William's father, Frank Stewart, is to the right of him. The
Stewarts are York residents. The other people are unknown to me.
The man with his hands on his hips looks in charge. On the window
you can see the end of a name and grocer mentioned, and above
it appears to say 251. My grandfather thought one of the streets
was Albemarle, but I am not certain.
