Conrad Myers' Home

Photos courtesy of Joan Young, great great granddaughter of Conrad Myers.

This home was built by Conrad Myers and his brother-in-law Solomon Brown in 1858. Tax lists show that Conrad purchased the land in 1854 and was taxed on the house beginning in 1858. The two families lived in the duplex for a time before Conrad bought a farm on Groups Mill Road near New Chester. This house is located on Lincoln Way East, just east of the square in New Oxford.
