Casselman Bridge


Casselman Bridge in Garrett County, Maryland - Constucted in 1813. It was the largest single-span stone arch in the United States (80 feet) at that time. It served traffic on the nation's first Federal highway, the National Pike which ran between Cumberland, Maryland, and Wheeling, West Virginia.
