TIMOTHY FRANCIS KADY, 42, of Westernport,
died at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser. He was a native of Beryl,
WV, the son of Mrs. Edith (SMILEY) KADY, Beryl, and the late John
S. KADY.
He was employed by Columbus Gas of West Virginia; a member of
the Gasco Club, Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Hiram Lodge 103,
AF & AM, Ali Ghan Shrine and Cumberland Consistory. He was
a veteran of the Korean War, a member of Kelly - Mansfield Post
52, American Legion, in Piedmont.
Survivors: His mother, his widow, Roberta (RAWLINGS) TICHNELL
KADY; two sons, Timothy F. KADY Jr., and Mark Kevin KADY, at home;
two daughters, Krista Gaye and Tammie Michele KATY, at home; four
brothers, James E. KADY, Clearwater, FL, Patrick and Thomas KAKY,
Beryl, and Bernard KADY, Piedmont; two sisters, Mrs. John HASH,
Fort Defiance, VA, and Mrs. Edith WISHON, Beryl.
The body is at the Boal Funeral Home; service will be conducted
at Mt. Calvary, with Rev. Donald Moore, officiating. Interment

ALBERT W. KAHL, aged 82, of 619 East Oak
Street, Oakland, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 1976, at
the Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland. Born Aug 30,
1894, in Oakland, he was the son of the late Henry W. and Mary
Elizabeth (SCHMIDT) Kahl.
Mr. Kahl was a retired cabinet maker and was a member of St. Mark's
Lutheran Church, Oakland.
He is survived by his wife, Martha M. (GLOTFELTY) Kahl; four daughters,
Mrs. Geraldine HUMBERSON and Miss Ruth E. Kahl, both of Baltimore;
Mrs. Mary Lour PAXON, Fl. and Mrs Esther PERRINE, CA., 3 sons,
A. William Kahl, CA; Randall and George Kahl, both of Baltimore;
two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Yutzy and Mrs. Jane Peterson, both
of Cumberlanad.
Funeral services will be conducted from Stewart Funeral Home,
Oakland, with interment in Garrett County Memorial Gardens. pt
RITCHEY JAMES KAHL, 55, Friendsville, was
dead on arrival at Braxton County Memorial Hospital at Gassaway,
WV. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Accident
and a veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver for Penn
Line Service of Scottdale, PA.
He was the son of the late Peter J. KAHL and ADA (WILEY) KAHL.
He is survived by his widow, Helen (SCHROYER) KAHL; four sons,
James E. KAHL and Jack KAHL of Friendsville; Melvin KAHL, Oakland,
and Randall KAHL, Deer Park; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl VANSICKLE,
of Friendsville, and Mrs. Betty MEYERS, Hagerstown and three grandchildren.
Services will be at the New (?Newman) Funeral Home, Friendsville,
with Rev. H. B. Rittenhouse officiating. Interment will be in
the Blooming Rose cemetery.

WILLIAM RAY "BILLY" KAHL, 30,
Grantsville, died Sept. 12, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Jan. 22, 1967, in Oakland, he was the son of Hazel (KAHL)
SELF, and the stepson of Earl SELF, Flintstone.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by one
brother, Truman W. KAHL, Accident; two sisters, Trudy M. KAHL,
Cumberland, and Donna R. SELF, Flintstone; and his maternal grandfather,
Raymond KAHL, Grantsville.
Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville handled arrangements. Services
were conducted at the Zion Lutheran Church, Accident, with Rev.
Wilfred Karsten officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

B. OLIN KESNER, Grantsville, aged 27, a teacher in the elementary department of the Grantsville school, died in a car accident. Mr. Kesner was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin KESNER, of Jennings, was born and educated in Harrisonburg, VA. He attended Junior college at Dayton, VA, and graduated from State Teachers' College, of Frostburg, in 1931. June, 1932, he married Miss Hellen MERRIMAN, of Westminister, who survives with two sons, Robert and Billie. He is survived by his parents and a brother, Melvin. pt
BETTY L. (TUSING) KING, 56, Olsburg, Kan.,
died Aug. 25, 1997. Born May 11, 1941, in Oakland, she was a daughter
of Mary Edna TUSING and the late Charles E. TUSING, Sr. She had
resided in Kansas for the past 28 years.
She is survived by her mother, her husband, George "Mike"
KING; one son, Jason Robert KING, Olsburg; one daughter, Peggy
Jayne BOOS, Olsburg; two brothers, Robert "Sam" TUSING
and Charles E. TUSING, Jr., both of Oakland; three sisters, Dorothy
BACHTEL, Alice HAUSER, and Carolyn MILLER, all of Oakland; two
grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at the Olsburg United Methodist Church,
with Revs. Beverly L. McCurdy and Donald Matthews, officiating.
Interment was in the Olsburg cemetery. Holmes-Pfeifley Funeral
Home, Riley, Kansas, was in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services were held at the family residence with the Rev.
C. J. Allender, pastor of the Methodist church of Grantsville,
officiating, and burial in the Grantsville cemetery.

Mrs. CHRISTINA C. KING, 79, formerly of
Deer Park, died Saturday, September 11, 1966, at the home of a
daughter, Mrs. Ida KRANYICH, Akron, Ohio. Mrs. King was the last
surviving member of her immediate family. Her husband, GROVER
CLEVELAND KING, preceded her in death. A native of Barbour County,
WV, she was a daughter of the late John and Rebecca WILT. She
was a member of the Loch Lynn Ev. United Brethren Church. She
had been ill for 14 months.
Surviving besides Mrs. KRANYICH, are 6 other daughters: Mrs. Betty
SWEITZER, Deer Park; Mrs. Jane LEWIS, Baltimore; Mrs. Mildred
WILSON, Opaloca, FL; Mrs. Savilla TURNEY, Oakland; Mrs. Blanche
DeBERRY, Homestead, FL; Mrs. Etta SHIPP, New York State; 2 sons:
George KING, Clinton Ohio; and Arthur KING, Wauchula, FL; 23 grandchildren
and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the Minnich Funeral Home
in Oakland with interment in the King Cemetery. Cb
DUDLEY B. KING, 38, a former Oakland resident,
jumped to his death from the bridge over the Monongahela River,
Fairmont, WV. King was the son of the late Justice of the Peace,
W. F. KING.
Survived by his widow, two children, several brothers and sisters.
Services and interment were held in Fairmont.

JULIUS E. KINSER SR., 64, of Lancaster,
PA, died July 5, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Born November 17, 1909,
he was the son of the late George and Martha SWEITZER DIXON. He
was a retired coal miner and had been employed by the Johnstown
Coal and Coke Company at Vindex.
Surviving: His widow, Mrs. Freda M. KNOX KINSER; two daughters,
Mrs. Diane MORRIS, Mrs. Freda MUMMA, both Lancaster; eight sons,
Norman KINSER, Canton, Ohio; Benjamin, Aurora, WV; Eric KINSER,
Baltimore; Julius KINSER, Jr., Harry KINSER, Hugh KINSER, Douglas
KINSER and David KINSER, Lancaster; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie LANCASTER,
Keyser, WV; Mrs. Beulah RIGGLEMAN, Pittsburgh; three brothers,
Onie OTT, Indiana, PA; Raymond DIXON, Baltimore; and Orville TASKER,
Kitzmiller.
The body was taken to the Minnich-Stewart Funeral Home, services
were conducted from the Hiway Assembly of God church with Rev.
George Tichnell officiating. Interment was in the Tasker cemetery.

KISNER, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David COLLINS,
of Oakland. Rev. Shilke, Pastor of the Lutheran Church of Oakland,
conducted the service.
Survived by two daughters, on son and three brothers, she was
the daughter of William and Elizabeth STEVENS, Oakland.

WINA M. KISNER, 89, of Friendsville, died
Oct. 18, 1997, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland. Born
November 26, 1907, in Kingwood, WV, she was the daughter of the
late John B. and Myrtle M. (BURKE) HAWKINS. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Robert R. KISNER and by two sons Johnny
KISNER and Denzil KISNER and one daughter, Evelyn KISNER.
She was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Kingwood
and the Loch Lynn Church of God.
Surviving: Two daughters, Betty L. DANKS, Kingwood, and Carol
L. MURPHY, Friendsville; three sons, Everett D. KISNER, Denver,
Colorado, Harry D. KISNER, Friendsville, and David Richard KISNER,
Crellin; 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

were held at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Kingwood,
with the Rev. Dayton Smith and the Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating.

CLARENCE H. KITZMILLER, 63, Gormania, WV,
died Oct. 22, 1997, at his home. Born Aug. 28, 1934, in Keyser,
WV, he was a son of the late Austin and Ozella (HEAD) KITZMILLER.
His first wife, Frances (HELMICK) KITZMILLER, died in 1987. Prior
to retirement, he was employed by the Mettiki Coal Co., Oakland,
MD. He was a member of the Bayard (WV) Church of God. He served
in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors: His wife, Lila M. (BUTLER) KITZMILLER; one step-daughter,
Sharon Odorisio, Panama, NY; two stepsons, Michael J. DeVOY, Salamanca,
NY and Brian T. DE VOY, North Fort Myers, FL; two sisters, Dorothy
STREETS, Hartmansville, WV and Ina KITZMILLER, Gormania; two brothers,
Richard KITZMILLER, Buchannon, and Cecil KITZMILLER, Parkersburg,
WV; and seven step-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, services
were held at the Bayard Church of God with Rev. William McCallister,

GEORGE M. KITZMILLER, was born in Garrett County, MD, July 15, 1869, died at his home near Thermopolis, Wyoming, Oct 9, 1935, aged 66 years, 2 months and 24 days. He married Miss Hannah RINKER, also of Garrett County. One son died in camp during the world war. He is survived by his wife, two children and one sister, Mrs. Dennis RINKER in Wyoming, and one brother, John A. KITZMILLER, Gortner, MD. He moved to Wyoming about twenty five years ago. pt
MARY ELIZABETH KITZMILLER, 78 years, 7 months
21 days, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wright THAYER
on Greene Street. Her husband preceded her in death several years
ago. The funeral was conducted at the home of her daughter, October
9, Rev. C.A. Shilke officiated. Interment was in the Underwood
cemetery.

and 13 days, died at his home on the Oakland - Mt. Lake road.
Surviving: His wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. Mary HELMICK, Keyser, WV,
Mrs. Anna BRADFORD, Oakland, and Miss Helen KLOEPFEL, at home,
also 2 sons, John and Ray, at home. One brother and one sister
also survive, john KLOEPFEL, Grafton WV, and Mrs. Betty KING,
of Gormania, WV.
Services will be at the Gnegy Church with Rev. C. A. Shilke officiating.
Interment in the Gnegy cemetery.

KNOX CHILD DIES AS RESULT OF ACCIDENT -
A 2 year old girl died early Tuesday morning in the Garrett County
Memorial Hospital in Oakland, of head injuries she sustained in
an accident while playing Monday evening near her home one mile
west of Swanton. HAZEL MARIE KNOX, daughter of Russell and Florence
HARE Knox, was injured when a piece of timber fell and struck
her on the head while she was playing near the barn with a sister.
The accident occurred about 6 pm. She was taken to the hospital
but died about 12 hours later. Fr. James H. FEASTER, deputy medical
examiner filed the little girl's death was accidental due to a
crushed skull.
Surviving besides her parents are 3 sisters, Mary Catherine, Bertha
and Betty, all at home, and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha
HARE, of Swanton.
Funeral services were conducted from North Glade Methodist Church
by Rev. Eugene MATTHEWS and Rev. Leroy HARVEY. Burial in the church

BETTY (EVANS) KUMBAR, 57, Owings, died Sept.
16, 1997, at her home. Born Oct. 13, 1939, in Glade Farms, WV,
the daughter of the late H. QUAY and Opal (FEARER) EVANS.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church
in North Beach.
Survivors: Her husband, Joseph W. KUMBAR; one daughter, Denise
(KUMBAR) BENDER, Lusby; one son, William J. KUMBAR, Owings, two
sisters, Judy TONEY, Medina, Ohio, Brenda KUMBAR, Waldorf; five
brothers, Walter EVANS, Bruceton Mills, WV, Wade EVANS, Bridgeport,
WV, Leon EVANS, Lake Lynn, PA, Dale EVANS, Mt. Lake Park, and
I. Reid EVANS, Bruceton Mills, and one granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic
Church, North Beach, Interment was in the Fort Lincoln Cemetery,
